As my sister and I shopped this afternoon for supplies to go down with us to Emmanuel,
I couldn't help but keep the above YouTube video in mind.  We not only gathered up the much
needed medical supplies, but we couldn't resist picking up some glittery headbands and
jump ropes for the kids.

Ginger, Anga-Lee, and I had a blast together running the aisles of Sam's, Walmart, and Dollar Tree
like our carts were on fire.  This is the glue that holds friendships together.  I'll be sure to tell the
children about the love that was sent with our goodies from today.  I'll try my best to explain
that God's love is felt so strongly when two or more are gathered in His name...even if it's in
the aisles of Walmart.  (Matthew 18:20) "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them."

As the old year ends and the new year dawns, we look forward to our visit to Orphanage Emmanuel.
